REAPRA is in the process of establishing a start-up within the hospitality industry, and we are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial co-founder to join us. We are open to starting a business within a wide range of sub-segments within the hospitality industry -- however, we would not consider setting up any of the following types of companies at this time: F&B outlets, hotel/hostel chains, or events/festivals. This co-founder will be responsible for deciding the strategic direction of the company as well as for developing and executing a viable business plan.


The co-founder will be responsible for all personnel and business decisions within the company and would be expected to evolve into a fully-fledged CEO within a period of 3-6 months.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Build and lead the executive and operational team, developing a high performing managerial team
  • Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Build trusted relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Implement strategies for regional expansion and success of the business
  • Requirements

  • Experience working as a key management member in a start-up, as well as some previous exposure to the hospitality industry, are both essential
  • Knowledge of the Southeast Asia regulatory and industry conditions would be a plus, although not required
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university (MBA is preferred)
